Working under the management of the Gjilan Basic Court, Supervisory Judge Ramiz Azizi and Assistant Administrator Synaj Qerimi lead a team of 18 administrative staff and 1 judge. 

This court hears cases categorized in the General Department, which handles most criminal, civiland minor offence cases.   Approximately 300 cases are filed in the Novoberde/Novo brdo branch each year. 

Serious Crimes cases and cases related to juveniles are heard at the Basic Court.
